Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We are looking for an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to give exceptional care to our patients! Job Functions

  • Provide best in class patient care

  • Clean and sterilize instruments, in operatory and lab

  • Keep up to date on OSHA/HIPAA regulations

  • Prepare impressions and/or models, take photographs and radiographs

  • Check that treatment rooms are ready, stocked, and clean at the beginning of each appointment

  • Accurately chart all patient encounters

  • Bond and assist with cementation of orthodontics appliances, tie in wires, fit bands, anticipate Doctor’s needs at all times

  • Combine efficiency, productivity and empathy for patients in all actions

  • Build caring relationships with patients & provide them with quality education!

Hours: 3-4 days/week (27-34 hours), weekdays only

  • Strong relational, customer service and communication skills

  • Personable, positive and encouraging with patients/families

  • Self-starter with strong organization, time management and fine motor skills

  • Hardworking and dependable with a willingness to help out in all areas of the practice

Your Training & Education

  • High school or equivalent

  • RDA license (preferred) OR desire and willingness to pursue RDA license with paid on the job training!
