After monitoring your growth every 6 to 12 months, we believe you may be ready to begin orthodontic treatment. At this visit, Dr. Stiles will evaluate how your smile has changed since your last appointment and make the official decision about whether it's the right time to start treatment. Because we'll be reviewing treatment recommendations, discussing your personalized plan, and answering any questions, a parent or legal guardian will need to be present for this appointment. You can expect your visit to last about an hour.

We'll take any photos or digital records needed so Dr. Stiles can compare your progress.

 

Smile Evaluation

Dr. Stiles will evaluate your teeth and jaw growth, explain any changes she's seeing, and determine whether treatment should begin now or if continued observation is still the best option.

If it's time to begin treatment, we'll discuss your treatment options, financial options, review your customized plan, and answer any questions you may have. If your smile still isn't quite ready, we'll let you know exactly what we're watching for and when we'd like to see you again.
