2026 Dr. Stiles Confidence Launch Award for High School Seniors

This award is open to any graduating 2026 i smile senior taking a meaningful next step after high school. College, trade school, military, full time work, certification programs, or starting something of your own. The award may be used toward tools, tuition, certification fees, equipment, professional clothing, startup supplies, transportation needs, or anything that supports their next step. Taking the place of our previous tradition to hold an essay contest for college bound seniors, now the farm kid, the welder, the CNA, and the college freshman all feel equally seen. This reflects “See the Person” and “Do the Right Thing” from our values.

 

Up to two $500 awards will be granted to qualified individuals who meet the following criteria:

01. Applicants must be currently in or have completed full treatment at i smile orthodontics and must be in good financial standing with the practice.
02. Applicants must submit 4-6 photos or video clips (totaling 30 seconds) that represent where their confidence is taking them next. Each photo/video must include a short caption in their own words. Examples could be: on the field, in a classroom, at their first job, serving in their church or community or practicing a talent.

03. A 150 word, minimum, essay that includes one sentence starting with "Confidence means I finally....".

04. The essay must answer the following questions:

- What is something you once felt unsure about that you now feel proud of and what has changed?

- Where are you headed next and what kind of difference do you hope to make along the way?

- How do you think confidence helps you succeed? What has helped you feel more confident as you move into this next chapter?
